Job Description:
A company is looking for a Member & Recipient Services
Representative to assist individuals with mental health,
developmental, and substance abuse disabilities in accessing
necessary services.
Key Responsibilities
Handle telephonic requests for services and link callers with
appropriate providers
Document screenings and maintain accurate records in the electronic
information system
Identify individuals with high-risk needs and refer them to
appropriate care coordination staff
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or a non-human services
field with additional experience
Two years of experience working with individuals with serious
psychiatric, chemical dependence, or developmental disabilities
Must qualify as a Qualified Professional according to 10A NCAC 27G
.0104
Knowledge of behavioral health principles and community
resources
Experience in telephonic customer service or similar roles is
preferred
