Job Description:

Our client, a leading store specializing in fireplaces, stoves, hot tubs, grills, and outdoor furniture, is seeking a Fireplace Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide top-tier service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on gas, wood, and pellet fireplaces, stoves, and inserts. The role also involves troubleshooting issues at customer locations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. We are willing to train individuals with a strong technical background and a desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service & Maintenance: Clean, diagnose, and repair fireplaces, stoves, and inserts (gas, wood, and pellet).
• Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional service, address customer concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Scheduling & Time Management: Schedule appointments efficiently and manage daily tasks.
• Inventory & Tools: Manage inventory, maintain company-provided tools and vehicles.
• Reporting & Records: Keep accurate records of service calls and customer interactions.
• Parts Management: Coordinate parts ordering for warranties and repairs.
  Requirements:
  
  
  • Experience: Prior fireplace service/maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, manometers, voltmeters, and pressure gauges.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with gas and electrical systems.
  • Qualifications: Valid driver's license, high school education, and a mechanical aptitude (e.g., ability to change oil is a plus).
  • Customer Service: Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Work Ethic: Reliable, responsible, and eager to learn. Must have stable work history.
    Compensation & Benefits:
    
    
    • Pay: Starting salary range for entry-level techs is $40K - $50K annually, with experienced techs earning $60K - $70K annually.
    • Commission: Eligibility for commission after 90-120 days based on performance and growth.
