Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Meat & Seafood Associate Team Lead to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation in our meat and seafood department.Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team of Meat & Seafood Associates, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
• Department Operations: Assist the Team Leader in managing daily department operations, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Customer Service: Model and deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate advanced product knowledge of our meat and seafood products, including cuts, cooking procedures, and nutritional information.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Team Leader and other store leaders to achieve sales, margin, and expense targets, and communicate effectively with associates and customers to ensure seamless service delivery.Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 1+ year of leadership experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Customer Service Focus: Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Product Knowledge: Advanced product knowledge of meat and seafood products, including cuts, cooking procedures, and nutritional information.
