Rehab Therapies Position Type: Unscheduled Your Role With Us:As a
Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and
treating patients using evidence-based standards and personalized
treatment plans. You'll collaborate with patients and families to
set achievable goals and ensure progress towards them, all while
prioritizing patient safety. Your responsibilities will include
accurate documentation and billing, proactive care coordination
with interdisciplinary teams, efficient caseload management, and
adherence to regulatory standards. Bring your communication skills
and clinical competence to the table, and contribute to continuous
performance improvement.
Background/Expertise:
- Master's Degree in speech-language pathology/communication
sciences and disorders required
- Clinical experience in the practice area strongly preferred.
(This could be as a SLP, as a clinical fellow or as a clinical
rotation student.)
- Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology awarded by the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association and be licensed to practice
Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Oregon. License must be
active and verified prior to start date
- Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required
- Be a team player and have proven success applying team approach
to obtain resolution to an issue.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem solving,
decision making, and organizational skills for working with the
rehabilitation team and patients.
- Demonstrated competency by implementing culturally sensitive
and functional treatment plans with appropriate documentation.
