We invite you to learn more about our wonderful community: Your Role With Us:As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Salem Health, you will be responsible for using appropriate techniques to perform nuclear medicine examinations while delivering top-notch patient care. Exceptional communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must in this role to provide complete and accurate diagnostic information. You will be tasked with using your knowledge to tailor exams to meet the specific needs of pediatric, adolescent and/or geriatric patients while obtaining quality exams.

  Background/Expertise:

  • Must be currently licensed in Nuclear Medicine with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
  • Advanced Cardio Life Support required within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire
  • One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
  • Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class (offered at Salem Health) within 4 months of hire.
