Job Description:

Safety Programs Specialist Primary Purpose Join a company with substantial growth potential as a Safety Programs Specialist. Conduct tests and inspect working areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations, and provide training on safety topics. Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise safety programs
• Provide training and instructions aligned with standards and regulations
• Evaluate impact of regulations to company operations
• Develop corrective action plans for audits and inspections
• Maintain records of safety inspections and training
• Conduct risk assessment and hazard abatement meetings
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate to improve training processes
• Other duties as required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field or relevant experience Preferred Skills/Experience:
    • 3+ years of safety or industrial hygiene experience
    • Certification such as GSP, ASP, CSP, or CIH
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience with foundry-related hazards and energy control programs
    • Leadership and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite This is a full-time position.
