Job Description:
A company is looking for a Denials Specialist with expertise in
Meditech Magic and denial follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve complex unpaid/denied claims using proprietary software and
communication with insurance carriers
Identify and report trends related to claims resolution, including
coding errors and missing charges
Perform administrative functions such as medical record submissions
and billing claims adjustments
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of relevant industry experience in registration, billing,
and collections
3+ years of experience with insurance carrier claims resolution
Knowledge of UB04 claim forms, EOBs, and medical records
ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding knowledge required
