ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS

1. Ensure all customers receive service beyond their expectations.
2. Handle customer special situations and requests immediately in a positive manner.
3. Monitor all aspects of the restaurant's operation to anticipate problems.
4. Enforce and maintain all Jersey Mike's. Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards.
5. Monitor and maintain proper staffing level and labor costs.
6. Take appropriate steps to create a friendly atmosphere for employees and customers.
7. Supervise and train Crew Positions.
8. Plan, organize and implement all daily operational routines and activities.
9. Perform all Crew Position duties including opening/closing as needed.
10. Continued education including franchise specific certifications.
11. Follow all company policies for food and cash controls.
12. 100% attendance
13. Model and promote all shared company values including compassion, communication and collaboration.
14. Any and all other duties assigned.

d. Must be able to read/write/speak English

3. Knowledge
a. High School diploma or equivalent
b. Completed Jersey Mike's training for Crew and Shift Leader positions
i. Shift Leade phase 1 within 6 months of hire or promotion.
c. Basic math
d. Food handlers permit

4. Working Conditions
a. Sometimes involve exposure to excessive heat and cold associated with kitchen environment.
b. Exposure to various foods, cleaning chemicals, sharp utensils, and hazardous food preparation equipment
