POSITION NOC Shift Caregiver - Hearthstone of BeavertonDESCRIPTION Position Summary:Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan. Allows and encourages residents to maintain their independence while preserving their dignity.Primary Responsibilities:Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, care of personal items and mobilityPromptly answer calls for assistanceRecord and document care provideEscort residents to dining area and activitiesObserve and report changes in resident's physical condition or behavior to Med Tech, RCC or NurseSafely uses equipment such as mechanical liftsRespond appropriately in emergency situationsWorks collaboratively with other team membersParticipates in projects, in-services, or committees as assignedAssists in training of new staffMust be self-motivated and able to think independentlyMust be able to work flexible hours and participate in holiday activitiesOther duties as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENT Caregiver Qualifications:High school graduate or GEDMinimum age 18Computer skillsDemonstrated written and verbal communication skillsCurrent CPR and First AidPhysical Demands:Ability to stand /walk up to eight hours per dayMust be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds.Must be able to lift, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, and kneel using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time.Must possess sight/hearing, or use prosthetics, that is adequate that the requirements of this position can be fully met.Starting Pay: $18.00/HrBenefits:Vacation/Sick LeaveHealth InsuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurance401(k) After 1 yearEmployee assistance programEducation and Wellness ProgramEmployee Scholarship FundHealth Savings AccountFree Meals SHIFT Various Shifts LOCATION Hearthstone of Beaverton, LLC EOE STATEMENT We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
