Mirror the physician Neurology practice, seeing up to 12 patients per day.Practice Highlights:30 minute appointments, including clinic and emergency room referrals.Supportive Neurology team, and mentorship.Focused on specific Neurologic diagnosis.MA support and a stable Neurology program.PeaceHealth at RiverBend Medical Center is a Comprehensive Stroke program offering EMG procedures, Botox and Headache clinics.Springfield is located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, also known as, Oregon wine country. Responsible for patient and family teaching.Essential FunctionsEffectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care.Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, which allows for consultation, collaboration, or referral.Gives directions to nursing and other staff.Prescribes medications and treatments and ongoing medication management. Orders lab and diagnostic tests when appropriate and interprets test results.Educates patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.Maintains legible, accurate, and confidential medical records.
