Job Description:
A company is looking for an Orthopedic Coder III to perform
complex coding reviews and resolve coding errors.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-depth daily CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding reviews of
outpatient codes and charges
Resolve coding errors and claim edits by accurately interpreting
medical documentation
Convert handwritten and typed notes/diagnoses into appropriate
coding formats
Required Qualifications
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist
(CCS)
Three (3) years of comparable coding experience
Strong skills in CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
applications
