• Employment Type: TravelOPERATING ROOM RNStart Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements). *Orientation for this unit will be held bi-weekly on Mondays. i.e. 11/11, 11/25, 12/9 etc.Shift: 4x10 Eves 11-2130Ratios: 1:1 Years of Experience REQ:2-3 years of trauma level 1-2 experience required. Preference is 3 of operating room circulating experience in acute care (Unit runs 19-20 rooms a day with complex cases and need well rounded staff). Ability to independently scrub circulate major cases in full service operating room preferred. Trauma experience required. Unit runs 19-20 rooms per day and needs very well-rounded circulators willing to hop in anywhere. Scrub experience is a plus! Very busy ortho trauma and totals service, neuro, ENT, plastics, peds, eyes, general, gen trauma, vascular, endovascular, gyn/uro, robotics (gen/gyn/uro). 1 Year of Epic experience is required. First-Timers Accepted: Travel experience preferred.Weekend REQ: TBD but most likely weekday shifts.Certs REQ: BLS required. ACLS and PALS strongly preferredIs on-call REQ? Yes, up to four 8 hour shifts a month per 4 week cycle.Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No Open to accommodating block schedule? TBDLocals Accepted: YesPending License Accepted: Yes RTO Restrictions: There are no identified limitations for RTO, each submission is considered on a case by case basis.Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Busiest Service Lines: Ortho (2 years of lvl 1-2 exp - including total joints), Neuro (2 years of lvl 2 exp - including cranis), Gen/Trauma, Vascular, GYN/Uro, Robotics. RN needs to be very comfortable in a level 2 trauma unit.Any special procedure done on the unit? We perform high acuity ortho, neuro, and general cases at all times of the day as part of our Level 2 Trauma certification.
