Job Description:
A company is looking for an AVP, Corporate Claims Manager-GL to
manage a complex General Liability claims unit.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, control, and coordinate claims activity to ensure timely and
professional service
Oversee claims settlement processes and maintain acceptable closing
ratios
Manage departmental budget and monitor expenses while implementing
procedural changes
Required Qualifications and Education
College degree required; legal degree preferred
10+ years of claims experience, including management of complex
claims units
5+ years of claims supervisory experience
Understanding of multi-jurisdictional legal issues
Experience in complex coverage analysis and large loss
evaluations
