Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior zOS Engineer to support zOS
Communication Services.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, tune, and troubleshoot VTAM and TCPIP as part of zOS
Communication Services
Install and support Connect:Direct/NDM and troubleshoot native file
transfer products
Participate in an on-call rotation, including working weekends
during maintenance windows
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in configuring and troubleshooting zSeries
Communication Services VTAM, TCPIP, TN3270
5+ years of experience with the use of TSO/ISPF
Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such
as Netview, Mainview, or Omegamon
Experience in the use of SMPE
Experience in the use of REXX and/or Netview REXX
