Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Billing Specialist to
manage insurance verification and billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service for insurance-related
inquiries and post-shipment patient contact
Conduct thorough insurance benefit investigations and follow up on
claims older than 30 days
Review, correct, and submit claims rejected by the clearing house
while providing timely updates
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of medical billing experience
Expert knowledge of billing insurance, particularly with commercial
plans
Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite
Experience in identifying pre-certification requirements and
managing patient communications
